Introduction
Amar Singh Higher Secondary School was established as Soldiers' Board Vocational training High School in 1957 with the Post War Reconstruction Fund collected in the names of those warriors who lost their lives in missed during The First and Second World Wars fighting for British Army. The foundation stone of The Soldier's Board Vocational Training High School was laid by Late King Mahendra Bir Bikram Shaha. Late President of India Sarva Palli Dr. Radha Krishnan had paid an aristocratic visit to this school. Late Mukhiya Dev Raj Ghimire was with an open heart to grant the amplest land (207 Ropanies) to creet the school building here. It was Late Major Bir Singh Gurung with his hearty inspiration to manage the post war reconstruction fund for the welfare of the people in Nepal. Then Soldier's Board Vocational training High School was handed over to the government of Nepal in 1968 for its overall management and imply the education system of Nepal. The name Amarsingh was taken by National Hero Kaji Amarsingh Thapa who fought against the British for the sovereignty of the country.
In the name of Brave Amarsingh Thapa school name was given as Shree Amar Singh School.
Objectives
Our school was developed with the aim to develop educated Manpower in the country. Our student should be capable to meet any situation that they have to face in their life. Students are the tomorrow Nation builder.
School Uniform
Students of this school should wear the school uniform during the school hours and other programs. The uniform is as follows:
1. Sky blue Shirt and navy blue Pants/Skirt.
2. Black leather Shoes and navy blue Socks.
3. Navy blue Sweater(v necked) and Coat.
Note:School tie and belt are available in the school.
